Introduction of Nano-antibody Supporting Reagents

Nanobodies are single-domain antibodies (VHH fragments) derived from alpacas and other camelids. They are known as a new generation of antibody tools because of their simple structure and small size (about 15kDa). These antibodies have high affinity, high specificity and excellent stability, and show great potential in drug development, molecular probes, disease diagnosis and treatment. Relying on a mature phage display technology service platform, TekBiotech has currently developed dozens of natural purified IgG reagents for alpacas, camels, and llamas, as well as goat anti-camel, rabbit anti-camel light and heavy chains and other related supporting reagents for downstream detection and verification in the development of nanobodies. In addition, these antibodies can also be widely used in WB, ELISA, IHC and alpaca IgG subtype distribution research.

The advantages of TekBiotech's camel-derived antibodies are as follows:

1. High specificity and sensitivity: Based on a strict antibody development platform, ensure the accurate performance of the product in the experiment and reduce non-specific background.

2. Batch stability: standardized production process, high batch consistency, meeting the needs of repetitive experiments.

3. Multiple labeling options: provide enzyme-labeled, fluorescently labeled and unlabeled rabbit anti-alpaca/camel antibodies to adapt to a variety of experimental designs.

4. Based on the company's existing large-scale camel and alpaca breeding base, camel-derived IGG purification can be mass-produced, with preferential prices and high batch stability.

5. Perfect technical support: provide customers with full-process technical consultation and experimental optimization suggestions.

Introduction of Nano-antibody Supporting Reagents Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1. What are the main differences between rabbit anti-alpaca and goat anti-alpaca antibodies?

Rabbit anti-alpaca and goat anti-alpaca antibodies are derived from different host animals. Rabbit anti-alpaca antibodies are known for their high sensitivity and low background noise, making them ideal for experiments requiring precise detection. Goat anti-alpaca antibodies, on the other hand, are widely used for various immunological assays due to their high stability and versatility. The choice depends on the specific experimental needs.

  • 2. What types of experiments are rabbit anti-alpaca IgG antibodies suitable for?

Rabbit anti-alpaca IgG antibodies are versatile and applicable in multiple immunoassays, including:① Enzyme-Linked; ② Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA); ③ Western Blot (WB); ④ Immunohistochemistry (IHC); ⑤ Flow Cytometry;Their high specificity and sensitivity make them highly effective for detecting alpaca-derived antibodies.

  • 3. How do I choose between rabbit anti-alpaca IgG1, IgG2, or IgG3?

Choosing the appropriate rabbit anti-alpaca IgG subtype depends on the experimental goals:① IgG1: Commonly used for general antibody detection.② IgG2: Ideal for analyzing specific immune responses or functional antibodies.③ IgG3: Suited for studying the biological roles of specific antibody subtypes.④ Subtype-specific rabbit anti-alpaca antibodies provide deeper insights into immune mechanisms.

  • 4. What labeling options are available for goat anti-alpaca antibodies from Tekbiotech?

Goat anti-alpaca antibodies are typically available in the following labeled formats:① Enzyme Labels: HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase), AP (Alkaline Phosphatase).② Fluorescent Labels: FITC, PE, Cy5, etc., for fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry.

  • 5. How should rabbit anti-alpaca and goat anti-alpaca antibodies be stored shipped by Tekbiotech?

Storage recommendations for antibodies:① Short-term storage: Keep at 4℃, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.② Long-term storage: Store at -20℃ or -80℃, preferably in aliquots to prevent degradation.③ Additionally, protect antibodies from strong light and high temperatures to maintain their activity and stability.
