Aptamer-Drug Conjugate (ApDC) Development Services
Aptamer-drug conjugates (ApDCs) have emerged as a highly promising new strategy for the development of targeted small-molecule drugs due to their low molecular weight, good tissue permeability, high specificity, ease of synthesis and modification, and low immunogenicity; they are also a major research focus in the field of precision cancer therapy. Aptamer-drug conjugates (ApDCs) are designed to precisely deliver highly cytotoxic drugs to cancer cells via targeted nucleic acid aptamers, thereby achieving potent cancer cell killing while minimizing damage to healthy tissues. The core value of aptamer-drug conjugates (ApDCs) lies in striking a balance between “targeted delivery,” “high-efficiency killing,” and “precision and safety.”

ApDC development services cover a full suite of services, including screening target design and production, aptamer screening, aptamer synthesis and modification, ApDC design and synthesis, affinity detection, in vitro efficacy evaluation, and in vivo efficacy evaluation in animals. To help clients optimize the efficacy and safety of the final product, the company specifically offers ApDC conjugation condition optimization services (including the selection of linkers, both cleavable and non-cleavable, optimization of conjugation groups or methods, and selection of small-molecule drugs or toxins, etc.), aimed at determining the most suitable conjugation process and scheme for a specific ApDC.

(1) Enzyme-responsive linker-mediated coupling: Utilizing specific enzymes highly expressed in tumors or lysosomes to trigger drug release (primarily using dipeptide, tetrapeptide, and glycosidic linkers)
(2) Chemical-responsive linker-based conjugation: Utilizes differences in the physicochemical properties between the blood and the intracellular and extracellular environments (such as pH and redox potential) to trigger drug release (primarily forming imine bonds, carbonate bonds, disulfide bonds, etc.)
(3) Non-cleavable covalent coupling: The entire ApDC must be internalized by the cell and the target moiety completely “digested” before the drug is released (primarily forming thioether bonds, amide bonds, etc.)
